A short guide to free software/plugins

Hey, I made this list for my friend who is starting to get into music production, and I figured it might be useful here. If you're looking to get into trying out VST/AU plugins, here is a list of quality, free ones.
DAW
Reaper- https://www.reaper.fm/
\Before I get into plugins, I want to mention Reaper. I don't personally use it, but if you're still using a different free daw such as GarageBand or StudioOne (and you don't have money to upgrade to another DAW), I highly recommend this. It's worth noting that it's not technically free, but with it's unlimited, unrestricted evaluation period, it is de facto a free DAW, and easily the best free DAW. You are technically supposed to pay 60$ at the end of the trial. But even if you don't have the ability to pay this, you can keep using it indefinitely.*

Synths
Tyrell n6 by U-he https://u-he.com/products/tyrelln6/
Great VA. Widely considered the best free VA synth available.
Dexed by Digital Suburban https://asb2m10.github.io/dexed/
Emulation of the dx7. A nightmare to program but the presets are plentiful and sound great.
Helm by Matt Tytel https://tytel.org/helm/
My personal favorite. This synth is really versatile, but I would say it tends towards more modern sounds (which is cool bc most free synths are vintage emulations). This is my favorite synth for sound design (in a pop context). The GUI is insanely simple yet powerful, and the sound is really good.
Crystal by Green Oak software https://www.greenoak.com/crystal/dnld2.html
This one is going to get you a lot more weird sounds. It's semi-modular, and relatively difficult to program (but not insane like Dexed), and it can get you some really unique stuff. Even if you're not up to the task of learning how to program this, this presets are very usable.
Triple Cheese by U-he https://u-he.com/products/triplecheese/
I love this synth because it's sounds really wild and unique, but it still manages to fit in well w/ pop arrangements. I would call it more of an analog than digital sound, but it's honestly neither.
Mixing and FX Plugins
Wider by Infected Mushroom https://polyversemusic.com/products/wide
stereo image enhancer. I honestly don't know the mechanics of how it works, but it sounds really good. It's very simple to use, and it really manages to maintain gain levels while you're using it. It can also go wider than any other stereo enhancer I've encountered, and manages to sound OK in mono even at really high levels.
Saturation Knob by Softube https://www.softube.com/saturationknob
Just a really good tape saturation plugin. Again, this one is really simple to use (so u don't have much ability to fine tune it), but it just sounds really really good as is. It's good as a mixing saturator to help something cut through a mix, but it also sounds good as a straight up distortion.
OTT by Xfer Records https://xferrecords.com/freeware
I (and so many others) swear by this for bass sounds. It's a multi band compressor, and it can make your bass sound tight yet huge. Super easy to use while also maintaining super flexible controls.
TAL Reverb II by TAL https://tal-software.com/products/tal-reverb
this is a reverb that reminds of a lot of digital vintage sounds from the 80s/90s. It's great for a bus reverb to glue multiple elements together, can also be used on a single source.
Span by Voxengo https://www.voxengo.com/product/span/
Spectrum analyzer. This is a really useful tool for visually analyzing your mix. Obviously mix w/ your ears, but our ears aren't perfect and this plugin provides a broader picture of the mix.
Others/Miscellaneous

EFT Comprehensive Performance Optimization Guide

TL;DR: Buy a better PC Kappa
EDIT: Corrections courtesy of Splintert , many thanks to him!
Greetings, fellow cheek dividers and cheeki breekis! I've seen a lot of players struggling to maximize their framerate in this game, even with pretty beastly rigs. I've helped a few, but I think a guide on how to get the best performance out of your machine (especially in the current beta versions of EFT, which are not very optimized) would be appreciated by everyone. Let's get into it.
DISCLAIMER: Use any and all of these tweaks at your own risk. If you don't know what you're doing, or are even a bit unsure, ask someone who does know. Don't ruin your $1000 PC because you were too proud to admit you didn't even know how to go into the BIOS!
Caveat: I only have AMD systems, so unfortunately for Intel and nVIDIA users, I won't have many tips specific to your hardware - however, general tips (and there will be many) will apply to you as well.
Test System Configurations
System 1 - Average Tier:
CPU: AMD FX-8350 Black Edition (4 cores, 8 threads) @ 4.0 GHz (underclocked from 4.2 GHz and undervolted from ~1.45 V to ~1.3 V)
GPU: AMD Radeon HD 7870 GHz Edition (2 GB GDDR5 VRAM, 1200 MHz VRAM clock, 1000 MHz GPU clock)
RAM: Corsair 32 GB (4x8 GB) DDR3 1333 MHz (XMP enabled: 1666 MHz) [16 GB would have near-identical performance]
PSU: 1000 W, 80+ Gold (Corsair)
Storage: 500 GB generic SSD (SATA)
Monitor: Generic 1680x1050 @ 60 Hz
System 2 - Above Average Tier:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 (6 cores, 12 threads) @ 4.2 GHz (stock core configuration, Infinity Fabric (memory controller) overclocked to 1600 MHz to match RAM)
GPU: AMD RX 5700 XT Sapphire Pulse (8 GB GDDR6 VRAM, 1750 MHz VRAM clock, 1815 MHz GPU clock)
RAM: G.SKILL 16 GB (2x8 GB) DDR4 3200 MHz (XMP enabled: 3200 MHz, CL 14)
PSU: 1000 W, 80+ Gold (Corsair)
Storage: 250 GB Samsung 970 EVO PRO SSD (NVME M.2)
Monitor: LG-24GL600F-B 1920x1080 @ 144 Hz
Monitoring/Performance Logging Tools
1) The "fps 1" and "fps 2" command. Use the "~" key to open the console, then type the command to enable it. Type "fps 0" to disable.
2) Radeon Performance Overlay (default shortcut: CTRL+SHIFT+O) [nVidia GeForce Experience has a similar in-game overlay]
3) CPU-Z and Ryzen Master (for CPU activity monitoring and tweaking) [Also Ryzen DRAM Calculator for RAM tweaking] [Intel does not have an equivalent to Ryzen Master, but CPU-Z is generic]
4) MSI Afterburner and RivaTuner Statistics Server (RTSS) (for GPU activity monitoring and manual fan curve adjustment)
Note: Monitoring applications that require low-level system access (i.e. need to read your hardware sensors) are sometimes identified by BattleEye as potentially dangerous applications, and will be forcefully shut down when you launch the game. This is not an application that is disallowed by BSG, and your access to the game will not be revoked (the "b" word cannot be uttered here) - it will just be closed when you launch the game, and you will have to re-launch it after you open the game. There is a workaround for this with MSI Afterburner - under Enable low-level hardware access interface, change this to "kernel mode". Then MSI AfterburneRTSS will work ingame no issues. (thanks, Splintert !)
Pre-game settings and tips
1) Update! Make sure you're running the latest Windows version, and ensure that your BIOS, chipset drivers, sound drivers, GPU drivers, Monitor drivers and peripheral (mouse/keyboard/headphones etc) drivers are installed.
1.1) When installing a new GPU driver, make sure to fully uninstall any older driver. This is called a "clean install", and can sometimes be an option in the driver installation menu. If it's not, make sure to manually uninstall the older driver. Use DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) for this - the fully manual way is also possible, but much slower (reboot in safe mode, uninstall, reboot in safe mode, install, reboot in normal mode).
2) Ensure that your PSU can handle the total power draw of your system hardware. A 350 W PSU is probably not enough. A 500 W one would be the minimum, with 750+ W being preferrable (the less power that is drawn from the PSU, the more efficient it is, unless if you draw less than half of its max rated wattage).
2.1) Ensure that your motherboard VRMs (the chips/capacitors/mosfets that handle power delivery to the CPU) are adequate for the CPU you are using. The cheaper (and older) your motherboard (in comparison to the age of the CPU), the more likely it is that your CPU is not adequately powered by the motherboard. Heavy in-game stutters (that happen at semi-regular intervals, different from the stutters the game gets because of optimization issues) are a tell-tale sign of VRM overheating that results in the CPU being underclocked heavily. I personally had this problem with System #1, which is why I underclocked and undervolted the CPU. Once I did that, the stutters I mentioned before disappeared completely. That said, do not mess with your CPU settings if you don't know what you are doing!
3) Ensure your RAM DIMMs (if you have more than 1) are set in a dual-channel configuration (meaning that the DIMMs should be installed in alternating slots on the motherboard, if it has more than 2 slots).
3.1) Ensure that your RAM has its best rated XMP (Extreme Memory Profile, essentially RAM overclocking) enabled. It is very often that I see people having bought very fast RAM, but without the XMP enabled, it is much, much slower than advertised. This is because the default (JEDEC) profile of the RAM maxes out at 2400 MHz - so if the RAM vendor advertises a speed over that, you need to enable the XMP, or your RAM will not be utilized to its max potential. Here's a nice guide by Corsair on how to overclock your RAM. All that said, make sure not to enable an XMP that is above what your vendor has rated the DIMMs for. That can cause all sorts of issues. If you're unsure, either don't mess with it, or ask someone who knows!
3.2) [Ryzen-specific] Ryzen processors like fast RAM a lot, much more than Intel processors (that's not to say fast RAM is bad for Intel CPUs, of course - quite the contrary). To utilize the fast ram as efficiently as possible, the memory controller of the system (the chip that handles read and write operations of the RAM) must be running at a speed that's as close as possible to the speed of the RAM. If it's slower, some of the potential of the RAM is wasted. If it's faster, the controller is overstressed for no reason. The memory controller was located on the motherboard on older systems, but the Ryzen processors have it integrated on the CPU - it's known as the "Infinity Fabric" (henceforth "IF"). To make sure that your IF uses your RAM to the max, its speed (in MHz) should be equal to half of the max speed of your RAM, in MHz. So, if you have two DIMMs of DDR4 3200 MHz RAM, half of that is 1600 MHz. Ensure that your IF is running at 1600 MHz, and you're golden. You can see the IF clockspeed in Ryzen Master, in the "Fabric Clock" field. If your RAM is running at 3200 MHz max, then the IF should clock up to 1600 MHz on its own with no action required. If not, or if your RAM is faster, you'll need to manually tweak it. You can do this in Ryzen Master. Here's a guide by AMD.
4) Ensure that your system is properly ventilated, free of dust/obstructions, and does not thermally throttle. If your system performs well for a while after startup but then loses a lot of performance, or if it does better in the winter than in the summer, then you're likely a victim of thermal throttling. PC components cannot handle extreme amounts of heat, but they generate a lot of it. If it is not dissipated in a timely fashion, performance degrades heavily - the system might even perform an emergency shutdown to prevent thermal damage to the sensitive electronics. Generally, if the system is clean of dust, free of obstructions (i.e. no large objects in front of air intakes), and its fans are running properly, you should have no problems. Otherwise, amend these issues. Check CPU and GPU temperatures with MSI Afterburner (link above).
5) Your hardware should be set to "Maximum Performance" mode in the Windows Power settings. Go to "Power Options", and see which power plan is enabled. Make sure to click the "Show additional plans" option, if it's available. Enable either the "High Performance" plan or the "AMD Ryzen High Performance" [Ryzen-specific] plan. If this setting isn't enabled, your components will draw less power, so the system will be more power-efficient. However, it will also not be able to perform as well as it could. Note that a higher power draw results in more heat generated, so make sure point #4 is taken care of first.
6) Disable background applications that might be using the CPU and/or GPU before playing EFT. Use the Task Manager to check which apps might be "misbehaving" in this way, and either disable or uninstall them. Antivirus software are notorious hogs of the CPU, so create an exception in your antivirus for EFT, so it's not monitored in real-time by your antivirus.
7) Make sure the game is installed on a Solid-State Drive, if you have one. If you don't, go buy one. Seriously, this makes a big difference - not just for EFT, but for general PC usage. Buy one!
8) Clearing the game cache or verifying the integrity of the game's files can occasionally fix some issues. You can do this from the game launcher. At the top right, under your username, there is an arrow. Click that, and you'll get a menu. There, you can find the "Integrity Check" and "Clear Cache" options. Use them if you are experiencing an error you can't seem to get past.
8.1) On the subject of the game launcher, if you experience a bug, make sure to submit a bug report through the launcher. The devs can't test all system configurations, so bugs will get through quality testing all the time. Get screenshots, record videos, type out an explanation, submit the log files, do everything you can to help the devs isolate and repair the issue. Making a Reddit post might help, or it might not. Submitting a bug report will help, however.
9) Go to the installation path of Escape from Tarkov (right-click the launcher and hit "Open File Location", then from there go to the "Battlestate Games" folder, then into the "Escape From Tarkov" folder), find the game's executable (EscapeFromTarkov.exe), right-click and go to properties, then go to the compatibility tab. Enable the "Disable Fullscreen Optimizations" option. Then, hit the "Change high DPI settings" button, and in the new window that appears, enable the "Override high DPI scaling" option. These two settings can prevent some stuttering and other problems in EFT.
10) As a final tweak, you can try setting the game to run in "Above Normal" priority in the Task Manager. Open the Task Manager while the game is running, and go to the "Details" tab. Find "EscapeFromTarkov.exe" and right click. In the drop-down menu, go to "Set Priority" and select "Above Normal". Confirm when prompted.
Graphics Settings
General: In EFT, switching some graphical settings to "low" (or anything other than "max") might actually reduce performance. Here's how that works. The engine implicitly assumes that your CPU is good enough, but that your GPU might not be. So, if you reduce a graphics setting too much, then it's sent to the CPU rather than the GPU for processing. But because the game is not optimized, and doesn't make use of multiple cores/threads effectively, you're actually bottlenecking your system by switching the load to the CPU even more! To make it even more clear, your CPU is already stressed a lot (because most of the load is on one of its cores, so that core gets used to the max), and if you change graphical settings to low (because you think that'll improve framerate), those graphical details (i.e. shadows) are then processed by the CPU rather than the GPU, because the engine thinks "oh, this guy switched shadows to low, his GPU must suck. Send the shadows to the CPU for processing!". So, counter-intuitively, decreasing graphical fidelity worsens performance (in some cases)!
NOTE 1: A common "issue" in EFT is that scoping in causes FPS drops. Scoping in (with magnified optics) will always cause an FPS drop of around 20 FPS (your experience may vary), because the game renders the image in the optic separately from outside - so it renders everything twice. This is called "picture-in-picture" rendering. This cannot be avoided, unfortunately...
NOTE 2: Offline performance is ALWAYS worse than on-line. That is because your PC runs the server and plays on it as well. Online, you only have to worry about playing - the server is elsewhere. So don't be discouraged! Your online performance will be better. This issue is also exacerbated if you enable AI. To test your true performance, go online!
Legend: I'll be using a specific notation here, to indicate the estimated impact of increasing each setting on your CPU, GPU and FPS. I'll use this notation: [CPU++ | GPU_ | FPS+], where "++" means "greatly increases", "_" means "no change" (or extremely minor change), and "+" means "slightly increases". Simiarly, "--" means "greatly decreases", and "-" means slightly decreases. For CPU and GPU, we're referring to usage, and for FPS we're referring to Frames Per Second gained (+) or lost (-).
Let's now tackle all in-game settings in order (in the Graphics settings menu). I'll also offer a brief description of what each setting does, if not immediately obvious from its name:
Screen Resolution [CPU_ | GPU++ | FPS-]: I recommend using the native resolution of your display (most typically: 720p, 1080p, 1440p). This setting has a high GPU impact, but is essential for spotting enemies. The lower your resolution, the more pixelated the image. So, at longer ranges, you won't be able to spot enemies at all. And, as mentioned in the "general" section, increasing GPU load is actually beneficial for game performance (if you don't overdo it!).
Screen Mode [???]: This isn't a setting that "increases" or "decreases", strictly speaking. However, prefer the "Fullscreen" option, as it uses the least system resources, and as such provides the best framerate. Note that there is a bug (haven't experienced it personally, but I know it exists) where the Screen Mode is "Fullscreen", but the game actually runs as "Borderless Fullscreen". This is bad, because this mode actually uses way more resources, and as such, an FPS loss is incurred. To ensure this is not the case, ALT+TAB back to the desktop. If you see the EFT window minimizing to the tray, then you're on true "Fullscreen". If not, then you're on "Borderless Fullscreen". If the latter happens, simply re-select "Fullscreen" in the menu, and hit "SAVE".
Aspect Ratio [???]: Nothing to tweak here, this simply determines which resolutions are available. The default should be ok, but if you can't find the Screen Resolution you want, check the Aspect Ratio, and see if you're on "16:9" or something else. All the resolutions I've listed above are under "16:9".
Vsync [CPU_ | GPU++ | FPS--]: Here's a good one. Always disable this. What vsync does, briefly, is that it prevents screen tearing. The EFT implementation of this, however, is not very good right now. Disable this, and enable other vsync options in your graphics card options. Both AMD and nVIDIA GPU software offer vsync options, and they both also offer enhanced vsync (Freesync and GSync), although they require a compatible monitor. Note: If your computer is powerful enough, enabling vsync in the in-game options, and disabling it from your GPU settings may remove the FPS limiter for the game, allowing you to get more than 120 FPS (which is the max in the in-game settings). This appears to be an engine bug, so don't count on it working - but it is a possiblity.
Overall Graphics Quality [CPU++ | GPU++ | FPS--]: This is a very coarse adjustment of all graphics options simultaneously. We're going to be customizing everything by hand, so don't bother with this.
Texture Quality [CPU_ | GPU++ | FPS_ or -]: Textures are the images projected on all in-game objects, giving them their actual apperance - otherwise everthing would be one solid color. The "blue grass" bug some of you might have encountered is a failure to render (display) the grass texture (and so you see the default blue appearence). This is a setting that you should adjust to match your GPU. Here's a rough guide:
-Potato-tier: GPU VRAM 1 GB -> Low (can you even play EFT with that GPU?)
-Low-tier: GPU VRAM 2 GB -> Medium (might also be able to use High+Texture Streaming, but don't count on it)
-Average-tier: GPU VRAM 4 GB -> High (if problems are encountered, use High+Texture Streaming)
-Good-tier: GPU VRAM 6 GB -> High (if problems are encountered, use High+Texture Streaming)
-God-tier: GPU VRAM 8 GB -> High
"High+Texture Streaming" is the same as "High", only a bit more efficient with using GPU VRAM. However, it can cause "pop-in" of the textures (i.e. a texture is very low-resolution one moment, then high-resolution the next). Use it if your GPU VRAM is 2 GB or more, and is completely maxed out. I've found EFT to never use more than 6 GB of VRAM, so if you've got that much or more, "High" is your clear best option. Otherwise, scale down as necessary.
Shadows Quality [CPU-- | GPU++ | FPS+]: This is a very tricky setting. As I've stated in the "general" section, some settings switch over to being CPU-rendered rather than GPU-rendered if you tweak them to "low". Shadows is one of these. Max this out as much as possible. Most GPUs should be able to handle "High" shadows. Check which one is the best by recording FPS changes when using each setting, then set to the one with the highest FPS gains.
Object LOD Quality [CPU+ | GPU+ | FPS-]: This controls how many distant objects are rendered on your screen. If you've ever seen a box/crate/bucket or whatever disappear from view if you move far enough away, this is why. In general, if you max this out, objects still disappear when you're far away, so you'll always run the risk of shooting at an enemy (player models always render) while they're behind an object that is invisible to you. As such, always keep this at its lowest setting, to minimize system load.
Overall Visibility [CPU_ | GPU_ | FPS_]: I believe this is equivalent to the "Draw Distance" setting of many other games (i.e. controls the maximum render distance). That said, I've noted minimal impact from this setting. I'd keep it at around 1000-1500.
Shadow Visibility [CPU_ | GPU+ | FPS-]: This controls the radius of the lighting "sphere" around the player, inside which lights and shadows are correctly rendered. Unfortunately, even though this looks the best when maxed out, it also means that shadows reach much further away for you, allowing enemies to hide in them more effectively. As such, and considering the fact that it does have a system impact, I'd keep this at the minimum setting, or around the half-way mark (100) if you want your game to look as good as it can without giving up too much in terms of firefight advantage.
Antialiasing [CPU+ | GPU++ | FPS-]: Antialiasing, or "AA", is a technique that attempts to reduce jagged edges in 3D rendered images. EFT supports the following AA algorithms: Fast Approximate AA (FXAA) and Temporal AA (TAA). The best performing one out of these is TAA, so enable that one. Use the normal setting (not the "TAA High") unless if your GPU is around RTX 2060 / RX 5700 performance or more, in which case you should use "TAA High". Do note that TAA generates visual artifacts near the edges of moving objects, so you might not like the look of it. In that case, FXAA gives good visual clarity, but with a bit more of a system impact.
Resampling [CPU_ | GPU++ | FPS--]: Resampling asks your system to render an image at a different resolution than the one you've selected to render at. You can sub-sample (i.e. render at a lower resolution), or super-sample (i.e. render at a higher resolution). If you sub-sample, you lose visual fidelity (essentially you've decreased the resolution), but you gain performance. If you super-sample, you gain visual fidelity (essentially increasing resolution, also rendering AA less necessary), but greatly impact system performance. Unless if your system is in the top 1% of PCs, I'd use "1x off" (if you do have a beast PC, try "2x supersampling"). Sub-sampling (i.e. 0.75x) is to be used if you are struggling to get a good framerate, and reducing the resolution helps. Instead of reducing the resolution (and losing visual fidelity in the main menu), try keeping the resolution at max, but sub-sampling. In this way, the in-game resolution will be decreased (and so you may get more frames), but the menus will still look ok when you're not in-raid (thanks for the correction, Splintert !)
HBAO [CPU_ | GPU+ | FPS-]: Horizon-Based Ambient Occlusion essentially increases lighting realism. It doesn't have too much of a system impact. If you're already struggling, keep this off - it doesn't have too much of a visual impact. If you aren't struggling, max it out.
SSR [CPU_ | GPU+ | FPS-]: Screen-Space Reflection does what it says on the box - it makes reflective surfaces reflect world entities. If you enable it and go to the Interchange puddles underneath the overpass-in-construction, for example, you'll see the concrete pillars and sky being reflected in the water. This has a slight system impact, but adds a lot to the realism of the game. I'd enable this unless if you're struggling with frames. Gameplay-wise, it makes no difference - so feel free to disable it if you want every last frame.
Anisotropic Filtering [CPU_ | GPU_ | FPS_]: This simply dynamically changes the resolution of textures, so that they "blend" a bit better. It has a minimal system impact, so feel free to adjust it as you'd like. Even for low-end systems, I recommend keeping this at "on" or "per texture".
Sharpness [CPU_ | GPU_ | FPS_]: This increases the visual sharpness of each frame (think about how the image changes when you use painkillers - that's an increase in image sharpness). This has no impact in system performance, so adjust to your personal preference.
Lobby FPS Limit [???]: Max this out. It's the maximum FPS in the menu. No system impact in-game.
Game FPS Limit [CPU_ | GPU_ | FPS_]: This puts a cap on the in-game framerate. It's usually a good idea to put a cap, so that you don't overstress the GPU. I'd recommend setting the cap to be the same as the refresh rate of your monitor, or the highest value available (if your monitor has a very high refresh rate, i.e. 144 Hz or more).
Z-Blur [CPU+ | GPU+ | FPS-]: This makes anything that's not the focal point (i.e. background) look blurry. It's also known (afaik) as Depth of Field. This is relatively system-intensive, doesn't really add anything to the scene, and can be detrimental to gameplay. Always disable this.
Chromatic Aberration [CPU+ | GPU+ | FPS-]: This is a post-processing effect that adds colorful visual artifacts to the scene where appropriate. This is relatively system-intensive, doesn't really add anything to the scene, and can be detrimental to gameplay. Always disable this.
Noise [CPU+ | GPU+ | FPS-]: This is a post-processing effect that adds visual noise to a scene (think static on a TV). This is relatively system-intensive, doesn't really add anything to the scene, and can be detrimental to gameplay. Always disable this.
Grass Shadows [CPU++ | GPU++ | FPS---------]: This allows blades of grass to cast shadows. It absolutely wrecks system performance, and although it looks very nice, is not really worth enabling. Always disable this.
Game Settings
Head Bobbing [???]: Set this as low as it will go. It makes the camera move around when the character is in motion. It can cause motion sickness if set too high, and also makes it harder to see distant objects (like enemies waiting to clap you, for example).
Field of View (FOV) [CPU+ | GPU+ | FPS-]: Set this to at least 67. FOV in EFT is not horizontal (left-to-right), but vertical (top-to-bottom). 67 vertical FOV is equivalent to about 100 horizontal FOV. Here's a calculator. You want at least 67 FOV because that prevents eye-relief issues with certain scopes. Eye-relief is the black circle that can appear on the inside of a scope, obstructing your view. However, do note that the higher the FOV, the more "zoomed out" everything will appear. With minimum FOV, everything appears "zoomed in". This makes it easier to spot distant enemies and aim at them, but it shows you less of the map (essentially you have a smaller "window"). Note that increasing the FOV will increase system impact.
Automatic RAM cleaner: Enable this if you have 8 GB of system RAM or less (can you even play with less?). I've found EFT to use up a max of 10 GB of RAM (max at Reserve, then Interchange, and occasionally Shoreline). If you only have 8 GB, you might not even be able to play some of the more demanding maps (i.e. Reserve). Enabling the RAM cleaner allows for more efficient use of the RAM, minimizing the impact of your lack of memory.
Use only the physical cores: This is a complicated one to explain. Essentially, modern CPUs can run multiple processes simultaneously on each core. This is called "multithreading" or "hyperthreading". As such, each available process "thread" is essentially an extra core. However, the CPU has a certain number of actual, physical cores, each of which has either 1 or 2 threads. The 2nd thread, if available, does not correspond to a physical core, but a virtual one. If EFT runs on a thread tied to a virtual core, it can underperform. Enabling this option should prevent this possibility, although the setting is finnicky at best, and sometimes does nothing at all. To ensure it is enabled on each game restart, simply go to the "Game" menu and make sure the setting is on, then hit "SAVE" (regardless of whether you changed something or not). This should force the setting on. To validate, go to the Task Manager while the game is running, find EscapeFromTarkov.exe in the "Details" tab, right click and select "Set Affinity". If your CPU has hyperthreading/simultaneous multithreading, then you should see some CPUs deselected. If that's not the case, the setting is not running correctly, and you have to do this manually. Unfortunately, this is way beyond the scope of this guide. If you're tech savvy, you should be able to find info on this and fix it. If not, you shouldn't be tweaking this stuff in the first place.
Concluding Remarks:
Well, that's all folks! This should help you squeeze every last frame out of your machine. Of course, there are infinite different configurations possible with PCs, so you can get an infinite number of problems. This guide can't guarantee you good performance, but if you're not a victim of a fringe performance bug, you should be able to improve your FPS in EFT.
If you have any questions, or if you spot any errors in the guide, please let me know!

Recap of Binance English Kava AMA (May 2020)

This AMA was conducted within the Binance English Telegram channel prior to Kava's June 10th launch of its DeFi Lending Platform.

Q1:

Can you give us a little history of KAVA?

Q2:

Could you please tell me what KAVA cryptocurrency is? What problem does it solve?

  • Answer - KAVA is the staking, governance, and reserve asset of the Kava DeFi platform. KAVA is required by node operators to secure transactions on the blockchain. Additionally, when lending fees are paid, they are converted to Kava and burned reducing the overall supply of KAVA tokens. As more users use the Kava lending platform, KAVA should become more scarce overtime.

Q3:

What is the advantage of keeping the KAVA token for a long and short term?

  • Answer - In the short term, if you stake KAVA you can earn additional block rewards every day, block by block. This provides a nice steady return on the Kava usually in the range of 3-20% depending on the number of people staking.
  • We will be opening the gates of DeFi to many top tier assets such as BNB, XRP, ATOM, and BTC which have never been able to use lending, stablecoins, or other DeFi Services. If you are a KAVA hodler you can benefit from owning and having a stake in the network as we grow because as the network grows, Kava is burned and it becomes more scarce as a resource.

Q4:

Chainlink is KAVA’s partner, can you explain more about this partnership?

  • Answer - Yes, this is not the usual chainlink partnership where a blockchain consumes data from Chainlink’s oracle solution.
  • No oracle solution adequate for DeFi applications on Cosmos was available. For this reason, Kava has teamed up with Chainlink to bring its data and reliable oracle solution to the Cosmos ecosystem. Chainlink nodes now will be able to securely publish data directly on the Kava blockchain where it can be used or easily transported to other Cosmos-based blockchains and applications. Chainlink oracles on Kava utilize all the industry-leading technologies of Chainlink, while enabling more frequent price updates and improving the reach and distribution of where that data can be used.
  • Since Kava’s blockchain is built using Tendermint, Tendermint-based blockchains within the Cosmos ecosystem (Binance, Terra, OKChain, Cosmos Hub, Agoric, Aragon, and others) will now be able to retrieve market data such as cryptocurrency, FX, and commodity prices. For DEX’s like Binance this will enable them to create futures, options, and other derivative products they were not able to do so before.
  • TLDR: Kava + Chainlink Data creates the ideal hub for all blockchains and applications to get their DeFi services and Data, and as result makes Kava a natural hub for the growing Cosmos ecosystem.

Q5:

What is the KAVA CDP product? Do you have any exciting things down the pipeline that you can share?

  • Answer - First, let me clarify that CDP simply means “collateralized-debt-position” similar to CDOs that exist in the traditional finance world. What it means is a loan using collateral to back the loan.
  • Kava’s lending platform offers collateralized loans to users who have crypto. Getting a loan with Kava’s platform is great if you don’t want to sell your crypto position, but need short term cash for payments or if you want to use the loan to get a levered / margin position without going through KYC.
  • As for news! Kava’s lending platform is scheduled to officially launch on the mainnet June 10th.
  • At this time, DeFi will be made available to BNB for the first time ever. Also at this time, the Kava DeFi platform will be awarding the first users that have BNB extremely high rewards for being early adopters.
  • Each week, 74,000 KAVA will be given out to all the users who have taken out loans on Kava. Yes, you get free KAVA, for taking out a loan using BNB!
  • If you want to participate, you can learn more about how to do it here!
  • Medium

Q6:

Why should BNB users use KAVA’s lending platform and take out USDX? And how to mint USDX with BNB on KAVA CDP?

  • Answer - Free- maybe let's call it rewards for being good users 😉
  • The rewards are platform growth incentives so that we can grow the platform quickly.
  • Well at launch, definitely the KAVA rewards are a huge reason for BNB users to use it.
  • As for the product long-term, the major use case for our lending platform is to get a levered position without needing an exchange or to go through KYC.
  • How it works is that a BNB holder can deposit their BNB and take out USDX loans - this capital they will take and buy more BNB with it. Most people will use the loan this way to get 2-3x the original BNB amount. If the price goes up on BNB, they win 2-3x the gains!
  • Of course if the price goes down and they cannot repay their loan, the BNB collateral might get liquidated, so be careful, it works just like a margin trading account.

Q7:

Brian do you have any more information or links for our community about this?

Q8:

KAVA was initially planned to launch on Ripple network but later switched to Cosmos Tendermint Core. [email protected] is that something you see in Tendermint Core that is not available anywhere?

  • Answer - For clarification, Kava was never planned to be on Ripple. However, Ripple is a Kava investor, shareholder, and partner.
  • We selected the Cosmos-SDK featuring the Tendermint BFT consensus because during our past work with Ripple, MakerDao, ETH, and other layer 2 work we learned the value of “finality” of blockchains. For example, on ETH, the finality of blocks do not happen right away. You need to reach 15+ blocks to be confirmed on Ethereum to really know a transaction has passed. This results in really slow user experiences that aren’t acceptable in finance or any application really.
  • Tendermint solves this because it makes every transaction final and occur in seconds.
  • Additionally, we chose the Cosmos-SDK as the framework to build our stand alone blockchain, Kava because it allowed us to create our own security model and design which enables Kava as a DeFi platform responsible for millions of dollars of collateral to be very secure in a way we could net get if we built it on any other network.

Q9:

KAVA does cross-chain support. Compared to other DeFi platforms, KAVA offer collateralized loans and stable coins to users too. How will volatility be managed there with so many different collateral systems in CDP?

  • Answer - Volatility is an important consideration and accurate and timely price reference data is needed to make sure the system works.
  • All the collateral positions rely on price feeds from oracles to determine if they are safe or need to be liquidated. Kava has created a novel partnership with Chainlink, where Chainlink oracles that normally run on Ethereum, operate nodes directly on Kava where they can post prices. This Kava to avoid network congestion, high gas fees, and other less desirable issues found on Ethereum, while enabling the oracles with Kava’s fast blocktimes and finality so they can actually deliver price updates 10-20x more frequently than is possible elsewhere. This makes Kava’s price feed data very reliable.
  • In times of volatility, if liquidations occur, the Kava platform automatically auctions collateral off for USDX on the market and burns the USDX. This mechanism keeps the system balanced and USDX algorithmically stable and always fully collateralized by real assets.
  • And it does this transparently, unlike the real world CDOs which caused the world issues in 2008 due to the lack of transparency in their assets and risk.

Q10:

Recently, Binance has released a white paper on BSC, a Binance smart chain. So, what can I get by staking through Binance Coin BNB?

  • Answer - Yay for smart contracts!
  • What can we get by staking bnb?
  • Staking BNB on Kava, or depositing it in a CDP and creating USDX from it earns users KAVA in rewards everyweek. A lot of rewards. In addition, you get USDX to hold which also pays out a savings rate each block that is much better than say what USD in a checking account could do.

Q11:

Various platforms are in Ethereum. So why is Kava not at Ethereum?

  • Answer - I could speak about this for ages, but there is a reason for Ethereum being the home to many hacks and bugs.
  • Kava is not on ethereum because we couldn’t build our system there. The main reasons. as I have mentioned are:
  • (1) Ethereum has congestion, oracle issues, high fees, and slow block times.
  • (2) Ethereum’s open smart contracting system can do anything. This is great for building crypto kitties, but horrible for financial software as it makes all code have infinite attack vectors that hackers can use which are impossible to test for. We built our own chain so we could scope the code and limit what attack vectors are possible.
  • (3) Building in solidity, the language of Ethereum, is horrible. The development environment is bad, testnets don’t work, and many other things are painful. Kava is primarily built in GO which is far superior for financial applications in most respects.
  • (4) The future is Cosmos. Binance, Okchain, terra, Cosmos Hub(ATOM), and Kava all are created using the Cosmos-SDK framework. I believe this is the future and the blockchain developers are moving to this in mass. Over 110 projects now are building with the Cosmos-SDK.

Q12:

What are ways by which Kava project generates profit/revenue to maintain project. What is your revenue model?

  • Answer - Kava is a for-profit financial DAO with over 80 different businesses staking Kava and voting on its evolution. They want to see Kava succeed so they vote to fund operations and developments that drive user growth in Kava. Due to fees paid in Kava and the burning mechanism, as the system grows in users, the Kava supply decreases making those that hold Kava win due to scarcity.

Q13:

Lending/Borrowing has been introduced by Binance. How can this affect the Kava since people can directly borrow BUSD from Binance with BNB used as collateral than going to Kava?

  • Answer - Kava will be featured on Binance as well. The main benefit of Kava is that there is no counterparty. The capital is minted on demand not sourced from somewhere. Binance and other centralized parties on the otherhand need to find capital to provide loans, creating a cost of capital. Kava is much more efficient at providing capital and avoids a lot of regulator issues.
  • I'll add I think BUSD in the future might be usable for collateral to Kava's loans as well. It would be cool 🙂

Q14:

What's your opinions on Future of DeFi & DApps? Do you think that DeFi is the future of current Financial world? Also, How do you see the future of KAVA?

  • Answer - I believe Centralized Finance and the existing infrastructure has a place. It has a lot of issues that cause things like the 2008 crisis and the current insolvency issues that are happening across the world due to trust-based debt with no actual backers other than the people which end up bailing out banks and other financial institutions that have made poor decisions.
  • DeFi's future is bright because it solves this fundamental issue. It removes trust and adds transparency. Kava is right at the foundation for all of DeFi as things grow and mature.

Q15:

Recently, we have seen some big hacks in DeFi platforms. How will KAVA deal with these bad actors of crypto and what security measures have been taken by KAVA for the safety of users' funds?"

  • Answer - Unlike a lot of DeFi startups, we take things seriously. We don't ""move fast and break things"" as Mark Zuckerberg would say.
  • We do a thorough analysis before suggesting to deploy code. Our internal team works very hard to run tests and simulations, once it passes internally, we give it to 3rd party auditors who try and game it and break the code. If it passes there, we give the code to the community to review and vote into the mainnet. In this way, I’d estimate about 100+ people review our code and test it before it goes live and consumers can touch it. I don't know many other project teams that due things with such diligence.

Q16:

Binance for KAVA is a very valuable partner in terms of increasing the number of users, but what is KAVA ready to give equivalent to Binance users? What applications will be integrated into Binance to expand the ecosystem?

  • Answer - Kava gives the BNB users loans. It gives the DEX a stablecoin and the ability to offer margin products. Kava’s connection to binance chain and chainlink data also enables Binance DEX to offer trustless derivatives like options and futures products going forward.

Q17:

Cosmos has limitations on working with PoW coins. How do you technically solve the problem of implementing DeFi products for bitcoin?

  • Answer - Cosmos is great for hard-to-work-with blockchains like BTC. It's flexible in how you can construct bridges. For example, the validator set can have a multisig private key split up into pieces in order to create a trustless escrow and control of assets on other blockchains. In this way, we can create peg zones with Cosmos for the best assets in the world. Once a zone is established, it can be used on Kava and other Cosmos chains.

Q18:

USDX is currently a little-known stable coin. Do you plan to add it to the top exchanges with good liquidity, including Binance?

  • Answer - USDX will be growing quickly. We have a plan to have it listed and get liquidity across several known exchanges shortly after launch.

Q19:

There are several options for using USDX on the KAVA platform, one of which is Margin Trading / Leverage. Is this a selection function or a compulsory function? Wondering since there are some investors who don`t like margin. What is the level of leverage and how does a CDP auction work?

  • Answer - Using Kava for Margin trading is 100% optional. You can choose how you want to use the margin loan. You don’t have to spend the USDX unless you want to. It could be used for everyday payments as well in the case you simply don’t want to sell your underlying collateral. If you don’t want the risk, do small loans with lots of collateral.

Q20:

Will your team have a plan to implement the DAO module on your platform, as it provides autonomy, decentralization and transparency?

  • Answer - DAO - Kava is a for-profit DAO and it’s fully functional already. We have on-chain governance and have underwent several votes and evolutions you can look at. You actually can see some current voting processes taking place here: https://kava.mintscan.io/proposals
  • We recently implemented a cool feature called committees, which enables the DAO to elect a small group of experts to make decisions without needing a vote of the whole user base. This enables the experts to have control over a small portion of the protocol - such as monitoring the debt limit, fees, etc and enables Kava to operate faster and be more adaptable in volatile market conditions.

Q21:

How can we address the possible overloads and security threats caused by increased users in the DeFi scene?

  • Answer - Yes, this is a huge issue for Ethereum, MakerDAO and everyone in the space. I don’t see a bright future for DeFi on Etheruem unfortunately. You can’t have a blockchain do everything well. Tether alone congests most of Ethereum and makes oracle price feeds lag the market. This can cause liquidations that should not happen and real people will lose real funds. It’s a huge issue.
  • The hope is for a dedicated system like Kava to provide a better backbone for DeFi applications going forward.
  • I should point out that Kava is not just a MakerDao for Cosmos or a CDP for Bitcoin. Kava is designed to be a foundational layer for DeFi services that every new blockchain and application will need.
  • Every blockchain will need DeFi services like lending, stablecoins, and data and they need it to be very secure. Kava does all this with its cross-chain lending plarform, USDX stablecoin, and Chainlink data in an incredibly secure, but accessible manner.
  • In this way, Kava aims to connect and serve all the major cryptocurrency communities and build it’s place at the center, where every developer can get what they need to build financial applications of the future."

Q22:

What distinguishes Kava from your existing competitors like Syntetix?

  • Answer - Synthetix isn't really a competitor, but it is an interesting project in terms of mechanism design. We share a lot of common investors and have similar token economic ideas with them. The only blockchain project that could be is MakerDAO, but they can only work with ETH assets due to their design. We are focused on the major cap assets - BTC, BNB, XRP, ATOM and others have a much larger market than ETH to address. BTC is 10x the size alone. Currently no one serves them with DeFi. We’re going after this opportunity and believe it to be a huge one.

Q23:

Why is the KAVA coin not used for Mint, why am I asking that because I see it can also make the value of KAVA coins grow naturally?

  • Answer - Why is Kava not used as a collateral? Well, it could be I suppose. The community might vote for this in the near future if they want us to be like synthetix. It makes the Kava token more valuable and it will incentivize much more locked-up Kava reducing overall circulating supply which is fairly favorable. The main reason we have not done this yet is that we(Kava and its community) are still weighing the risks of doing this given that Kava also functions as a reserve asset. I think it's likely Kava gets added as collateral at some point, but it will likely have a high debt-collateral ratio to address the issues similar to Synthetix which is 750%.

Q24:

How do you prevent in a manipulated KAVA Mint just to take advantage of a token prize when minting?

  • Answer - Minting rewards and manipulation. We’ve thought of this. Each week, the blockchain counts all the blocks, counts how many people had a loan in that period, then takes the average loan amount over time to calculate the rewards. If you open and close a loan - you will get very little rewards. You only get a large reward if you keep the loan open the full period.

Q25:

Who are your oracle providers? Are you also an oracle provider?

  • Answer - Kava may run 1 oracle in the future, but we will always have many and be the minority. Most chainlink oracle node operators are large players in the space that run staking infrastructure companies like cosmostation, chainlayer, chorus one, figment networks, etc. Binance will also be one of our oracles.

Q26:

If we look at all the different types of DeFi products _(decentralized exchanges, stablecoins, atomic swaps, insurance products, loan platforms, trade financing platforms, custody platforms, and crowdfunding platforms) currently covering important areas of traditional finance...where does Kava fit in?

  • Answer - To make any interesting financial product work you need capital, a stable store of value, and price data. These are really hard to get on current blockchain environments. Kava provides all of these.

Q27:

Many people describe Kava as similar to Maker (MKR). How is Kava different? Why do you think Kava has more potential?

  • Answer - MakerDAO is a smart contract with a singular purpose, to serve ETH. It sadly inherited the problems of ethereum. Kava is designed from the ground up for security and interoperability. We are targeting bigger and better assets and have more capabilities to serve them with what their developers and ecosystem need.

Q28:

What is the uniqueness of KAVA project that cannot be found in other project that´s been released so far ?

  • Answer - Well in June 10th, we will be the first ever blockchain project to bring DeFi to another blockchain in a real way. BNB users will have loans, stablecoins, and much more.

Q29:

The gas fee is an issue for blockchain besides scalability. Does your Kava provide a solution for gas?

  • Answer - gas fees are very low on Kava, only high enough to prevent spam. We dont need high fees for TX because validators are paid in block rewards. Additionally, we dont have competing transactions from crypto-kitties or other non-financial applications. This leaves all of Kava's throughput 100% dedicated to scaling financial transactions.

Q30:

Kava project works on DeFi (Decentralized Finance) But what’s the benefits of Decentralized Financial system? What are the possibilities of DeFi over Centralized Finance system?

  • Answer - Open access, no need for trust, and no censorship by singular governments or parties. Kava is accessible anywhere in the world, by anyone.

Q31:

Data supplied by oracles are false at times, how do you prevent this? How reliable are data received by KAVA?

  • Answer - This is why using premium / credentialed APIs is important for oracles. These data sources tend to be more accurate and better managed. Wrong prices can happen - for liquidation systems like Kava, we factor this into our design by using an average of data overtime form all oracles as part of the calculation.

Q32:

Can anyone become a KAVA validator, or is it just an invitation from the project itself? What are the requirements for becoming a KAVA verifier?

  • Answer - Anyone can become a validator, but you will need to stake or have enough stake delegated to you from others to be in the top 100 validators to earn block rewards.

Q33:

DEFI PULSE said that a total of 902M is currently locked. According to you, how will this number change in the next few years, and how will KAVA position itself as the top player in this market segment?

  • Answer - DeFi will only grow through 2020. And likely grow massively.
  • All projects on DeFi pulse are ""ethereum"" based. Kava is going to shake the blockchain world in the next few weeks by being the first ""multi-chain"" project on DeFi pulse and by my estimations we should quickly surpass a lot of the projects on that list.

Q34:

I am an testnet minter and the process seem Simplified, now I want to know if minting of USDX will continue when you launch Mainnet and do you have plans to build your own KAVA WALLET for easy minting on your mainnet

  • Answer - Simple blockchain experience?! high praise! Yes the process will be the same. Kava will not provide interfaces or wallets. Kava Labs builds software for the blockchain, our community members like Cosmostation, Frontier, Trust Wallet build support for people to interact with it.

Q35:

What business plans does Kava have with Seoul (South Korea) after partnering with Cosmostation? Do you plan to expand your products beyond Asia? Have you thought about harnessing the potential of South America?

  • Answer - South Korea is a perfect market for Kava's DeFi. Regulations prohibit fiat-backed stablecoins and margin trading. Kava's platform uses crypto-backed stabvlecoins and can enable users to get loans to margin trade. I am looking forward to further developing the Korean market for Kava, working with close partners like Cosmostation and showing the world real use cases of DeFi.

Q36:

Thank you for taking the time to conduct this AMA. Do you have any parting words, and where can the people go to keep up with all of the new happenings regarding Kava Labs?

  • Answer - Thanks for all the awesome questions! Amazingly thoughtful!
  • I've been promising the world cross-chain DeFi since June of last year. The IEO and mainnet went live Nov 2019. It's been a year of hard work - but an industry first is coming on June 10th. I'm excited. I hope you guys are.
  • Thanks for having me, I hope you become a USDX minter and get KAVA rewards. And last but not least, I love Binance - it's Kava's first home and I'm really happy to open up DeFi to BNB first.

Her katmana ayrı hareketler verebiliyoruz.

Toon Boom Harmony & Storyboard 7

Sistem: Windows, Linux ve macOS
Toon boom firması tarafından piyasaya ayrı ayrı sürülen Harmony ve Storyboard 7 pro programları entegreli çalışabilmektedir. Bazı animasyon stüdyoları tarafından kullanılan TB Harmony programı 2d animasyon programı kategorisinde yer almaktadır. Palet ve boyama araçlarının başarılı olduğunu söyleyebiliriz. Harmony'nin bir diğer güzel özelliği ise kullanmak istediğiniz 3d görselli import ettiğinizde iki boyuta düşürüyor. Sanal gerçeklik veya oyun ortamlarıyla ilgili başarılı sonuçlar elde edilebiliyor. Storyboard 7 pro ise aslında Toon Boom'un kanayan yarasıdır. Harmony'i bilenler "storyboarda ayrıca gerek yok" diyerek yüzüne bile bakmıyor.

Digicel FlipBook Animation

Sistemler: Windows ve macOS
Digicel'in 2d animasyon programı flipbook animation stykz programının bir tık üst versiyonu diyebiliriz.

Tasarım işinde her şeyi düşünmüş. Adobe Rush ile video düzenlemesi yaptığınız aygıtlar üzerinde eş zamanlı çalışma olanağı sunmaktadır. Aylık ortalama 20$ civarında bir fiyatı var.

Autodesk Maya

Adobe After Effects

Bu sektörün mercedes'i diyebiliriz.

Autodesk 3ds Max

Sistemler: Windows, Linux ve macOS
Yine bir autodesk klasiği diyebiliriz. Yaptıkları her program ayrı gündemler oluşturuyor. 3d animasyon programı da denilebilir. Emektar programlar arasında yerini alır diye düşünüyoruz. Maya programından yaklaşık 8 yıl önce piyasaya sürülmüştü. Autodesk firmasının 8 yıllık animasyon ve modelleme deneyimin ardından 3ds max'i kaldırmadılar ama Maya'yı çıkartmışlardı. Hala kullanan tasarımcılar var. Ama bize sorarsanız, tasarımcılarımız Maya varken 3ds'yi tercih etmiyorlar. Kimisi önceden kullandığı için hala 3ds kullanmaya devam ediyor. 3ds ile neler mi yapılabilir? Neler yapılmaz ki..

NeoGeo Blender

Kendilerine has görünümler oluştururlar ve çizimler yaparlar.

Çünkü her sahneyi coğrafi donelerle anlatmak zorunda kalabilirsiniz.

İstediğiniz her şeyi ekrana yansıtamazsınız.

Christmas, Hanukkah, Holiday, Birthday, Cartoon, For Business, Explainer, Business, Presentation, Marketing, Corporate, Slideshow, Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, Advertisement, For Work, Resume, Intro, Outro, Text Animation, Logo Animation, Promo, Marketing, Youtube Intro, Commercial, For Everything else, Lyric, Music, Doodle, Invitation, Scribing, Photo, Social, Friendship template kategorilerinden bazılarıdır.

Vyond

Sistemler: Windows
